Changes in the field of HR are concentrated around three change waves:
Continuous learning – we see a major shift around topics such as continuous feedback, employee engagement, performance management and we see great changes in the development of tools that support these topics.
People analytics – data analyses, machine learning, artificial intelligence will all invade into HR and make data driven decision making easier. HR will have to get updated in this field, learn what it is to work with data and play with it.
Employee experience – in order to get the best people, and to get the best out of people design thinking starts to become a part of HR. Designing HR, with the customer (employee, but also management) in mind, will not only change mindset, but will also change tools and processes we use in HR
